Alban Eilir – Spring Equinox

daffodilsAS I write, the sun is blazing through the window, the daffodils in the little front garden are nodding in gentle conversation, now full and proud in their blooming. Buds and the first blossoms are everywhere, as the land begins to put on her full mantle of beauty.
Wight Druids will be offering open public rite and celebration for Alban Eilir, the Spring Equinox, at The Longstone, Mottistone, from around noon on Saturday, March 21, to honour the many blessings of this tide.
As ever, all who approach with open heart and mind and in the spirit of mutual respect that is the Druid ethic will be most welcome.

Druidcast

THIS might well interest you, if you haven’t already been there – a quality podcast from the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids, led by Damh the Bard. It’s pretty well done and has some fine contributors. Have a listen to:

And do stay tuned…
After The Druid Network AGM in Birmingham at the weekend, TDN is to produce its own podcast. This time, however, it will be the grass-roots membership who will be providing all the inspiration.
We’d be interested to know what you think …
