Around two dozen people watched a golden, slightly cloudy sunrise at The Longstone on June 21, danced in circle around the stones and shared bread and mead.

Alban Hefin – Summer Solstice, 2007
The portents are predicting some pretty unfriendly weather for Thursday, June 21, when we are planning to offer open public ritual around sunrise at The Longstone.
Should they be proved right, we will instead gather there on Saturday, June 23, for noon – praying the summer squalls can’t last that long.
